Forums and Summit

Solutions put forward by the local community were discussed at a summit in Alice Springs on Thursday 9 August. Information from the summit is available in the Summit Report ( PDF document, 50 kilobytes).

The summit built on the work carried out at a series of forums conducted with local communities, businesses and residents in late June. Reports from the forums can be accessed from the menu at left.

The forums examined what's working in the fight against antisocial behaviour and looked at grass roots solutions and collaborative actions put forward by the community.

The forums and the summit were designed to ensure a range of views, voices and ideas from across the community inform any actions put forward to deal with antisocial behaviour. Independent facilitator Sheila O’Sullivan hosted the forums and summit.
